A traditional english breakfast, created for my Property Construction class final. The prompt I was given was for a romantic comedy, in which someone forget's their partners birthday and cooks a meal at the last minute. As a result, everything is a slightly burnt.
To get my traditional baked beans in the shape of a heart, I created a mold using chip cardboard, a plastic lining, and painters tape. The beans themself are made out of tin foil, and covered in burnt sienna, white paint, and Flexbond.
In progress: The toast is made out of cushion foam, the blood sausages, egg yolk and hash browns are made out of rebond foam, and the bacon is aluminium foil.
A re-creation of Sokka's ball-headed war club from Nickelodeon's Avatar: The Last Airbender. Constructed out of a 1x6 piece of plywood, a foam ball that was attached by using the Dutchman technique, muslin, and Flexbond, along with a piece of muslin that was soaked in tea & Van Dyke Brown for the handle. Finally, a gloss medium was added as a finish,
A stew created for Brooklyn College's One Acts Festival 2023. The stew was made by inserting a piece of cardboard into an existing tupperware, rolled up balls of tin foil for the peas, and pieces of rigid foam for the meat, potatoes, and carrots. A final coat of Flexbond was used to give it an oily finish.
Before making the full stew, a small prototype was made to figure out the proportions needed.
